Tampon stuck inside of me for 2 weeks straight! hospital or not?

Ive already asked this question, but some ppl were telling me to go, some told me not to: ok, about 2 weeks ago, i got off of my period, i put a tampon in just incase of more bleeding. A few hours later i put a second one in, forgetting i had one in already. (first time ive done that.) i changed a few times, each time, not knowing i had a second one in there. I told my husband the next day that i felt uncomfortable, and i thought there was one way in there, i checked but i guess my finger was too short to feel anything so i figured i was wrong. A couple nights later, me and my husband tried to have sex, this irratated him, and we figured it was because of my birth control, mirana (an iud) i had no clue there was one inside of me until last night, when my husband started to finger me. He said he felt it way in there and pulled it out since my fingers were too short. there was no blood on it. i wanted to go to the hospital, but he told me not to over react.and yes i know i can get TSS. What do i do?
