Lots of bright pink blood after sex?

The last time me and my husband had intercourse I bled very bad afterward. It was all over him and I wiped it off when I went to the bathroom too. it was more than just spotting, and it scared me. We didnt go 'hard' or anything. Nothing out of the ordinary, and I am not supposed to start my period for another 2 and a half weeks. I do not have an iud or any birth control for that matter.
